Description
The competition package for the Audi RS3 8V Sportback/Sedan 294KW/400PS (08/2017+) consists of the intercooler upgrade kit EVO3 and the downpipe kit.
The high-performance intercooler has the following core dimensions (515mm x 367mm x 95mm [stepped] = 16.5L) and thus offers an 84% larger inflow area and 101% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed competition high-performance intercooler core ensures sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler. It is a high-quality Tube Fin core with internal turbulators. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminium and have been optimised using flow analysis in the CFD system. Integrated air baffles at the inlet ensure that the charge air cooler is filled evenly. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore ideal for racing. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimum cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler and the crossbar form a stable unit and, thanks to the new Competition high-performance intercooler core, weighs just 14.3 kg. It is fitted to the original mounting points and is easy to install (1:1 replacement). Tested up to 6 bar and pressure-resistant. All our products are subject to constant quality control.
