VTT VAG M14x1.5 Wheel Stud Kit

Replace factory wheel bolts with a conventional stud-and-lug-nut arrangement for faster, easier wheel changes. The 85 mm studs provide useful thread length for supported street and motorsport wheel combinations.

Stud Specifications

• Cold-rolled class 10.9 steel construction
• Black-oxide finish
• 85 mm overall length
• 75 mm total thread length
• 10 mm bull nose for easier lug-nut engagement
• 12 mm hub-side threaded section
• 12 mm unthreaded shank
• 48 mm wheel-side threaded section

Kit Contents

• Ten or twenty M14x1.5 black wheel studs, as selected
• Ten or twenty M14x1.5, 19 mm-hex black open-ended lug nuts, as selected

Finish Care

Black oxide slows corrosion but is not an impervious coating. Surface rust can develop when exposed to moisture and road chemicals. Clean the hardware regularly and apply a light corrosion-inhibiting film to exposed surfaces without contaminating the seating surfaces or brakes.

Installation

Apply medium-strength threadlocker to the clean hub-side threads and install each stud to the published 10 ft-lb specification unless a current supplied instruction states otherwise. Torque the lug nuts to the applicable vehicle/wheel specification and recheck all studs and nuts after 25–50 miles.
