VTT Billet BMW Oil Pressure adapter

Description

Add a real oil-pressure sensor to compatible BMW engines without forcing a bulky sender directly into the factory M12 switch location. The modular VTT system can be ordered as a complete package or configured piece by piece to suit the installation.

Complete-Kit Configuration

• VTT billet remote-sender adapter and mounting hardware
• M12-to–4 AN engine adapter
• 24-inch oil hose with one straight and one 45-degree connection
• 1/8-inch NPT-to–4 AN 90-degree fitting
• Genuine AEM 0–100 PSIG pressure sender
• AEM three-wire connector
• 24-inch wiring harness

Build It to Fit

Individual selections may include different hose lengths, straight/45/90-degree hose connections, sender-side fittings, one or two wiring harnesses, the AEM sender and connector, the billet adapter, and the M12 engine fitting. The adapter can be mounted to a suitable M6 or M8 location on the engine, firewall, or fender area.

Wiring and Installation

The installer must wire the three-wire AEM sender to a compatible gauge, ECU input, or data logger. Follow the sensor manufacturer’s wiring and calibration instructions. Prime the hose, verify oil-pressure readings with a known-good reference, and inspect all connections for leaks.

Compatibility

For supported BMW engines that use the factory M12 dummy oil-pressure switch. Confirm thread size, clearance, and sensor requirements before ordering.
