VTT G8X S58 Carbon-Fiber Intake Lid and Filter Kit

The VTT G8X intake package retains the efficient factory airbox layout while replacing the upper lids and filters with genuine multi-layer carbon-fiber components and reusable high-flow cotton elements. The result is a direct-fit visual and airflow upgrade without replacing the complete intake tract.

Construction

• Eight layers of genuine carbon fiber

• Heat-resistant silicone filter bases
• Reusable pre-oiled cotton filter media

Dyno Test Summary

On VTT’s shop M3, three baseline runs with factory lids and filters averaged 726.67 WHP. Three comparison runs with the VTT lids and filters averaged 739.93 WHP, a 13.26 WHP average increase in that specific test. The vehicle retained the same VTT GC silicone inlet system throughout. Results vary with vehicle, conditions, calibration, and supporting modifications.

Installation and Compliance

Installation is reversible and typically takes 15–30 minutes. The airbox-lid and panel-filter configuration is represented as emissions legal in all 50 states; always confirm current requirements for your vehicle and location.
