SPEC BMW B58 F20 F22 F30 F32 SPEC-Design Single Mass Flywheel (M140i(x), M240i(x), 340i(x) & 440i(x))

Description

These kits feature a non-SAC mechanism pressure plate, which, deviating from the original design, provides a lighter rotating assembly, higher rpm capability and greater clamp load levels. Required for the install is a billet rebuildable flywheel that features a lightweight, low MOI design and infinite rebuildability.  

Note: This SPEC-designed single mass flywheel cannot be fitted to an OEM design clutch.

This flywheel is for SPEC's proprietary SPEC BMW N55 B58 E82 E89 E90 E92 F20 F30 SPEC-Design Clutches (inc. 1M, 135i, M135i, M140i, M235i, 335i & 435i).

Steel or Aluminium? 

The aluminium produced one of the highest wheel hp gains we have ever seen, 17 whp (on an otherwise unmodified car).

The steel produced around 10 whp. The steel dampens more of the gear resonance and, thus, is quieter at idle with the pedal out than the aluminium.
