The Design
A step built to take the hit
Each main step is laser cut and formed from 4mm aluminium, then TIG welded and coated in a hardwearing polyurethane system — protecting the part from extreme conditions while giving the rugged look the Defender deserves.
The mounting system is manufactured from 304 stainless steel and fixes directly to the vehicle with no modification, tying into both the main body and the jacking points for a durable, secure mount.
Passivated black stainless fasteners are used where visible to keep the kit looking as good as it performs, and a machined nylon spacer sits at each jacking point so the correct lift location stays simple to find on a vehicle lift.
