Halo GT Advanced DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid 600ml

GT-600ML

Halo GT by Orthene is an advanced DOT 4 racing brake fluid developed from Halo P1, the fluid used at the highest levels of motorsport, in a road-compliant package. Made for sprint racers, trackday drivers and drivers who want consistent, fade-resistant braking on road and track without changing fluid.

Typical results

Dry equilibrium reflux boiling point 336°C / 637°F
Wet equilibrium reflux boiling point 206°C / 403°F
Kinematic viscosity @ -40°C 1350 cSt
Kinematic viscosity @ 100°C 2.5 cSt
pH 7.15
Capacity 600 ml
  • Lowest viscosity of any DOT 4 racing brake fluid - faster piston release and responsive braking
  • Low compressibility across a wide temperature range for a stable pedal
  • Compliant with Bosch M5 ABS

Why Halo GT

  • Race performance, road legal: Halo describes GT as a DOT 4 fluid that gives race performance in a road-compliant package. Bremsen Technik, Halo's UK distributor, says it is one of only two brake fluids that are race focused but road legal.
  • Derived from Halo P1, the fluid Halo says is trusted at the top level of motorsport.
  • Fade resistant technology: Halo says GT is engineered to hold firm under repeated high-load braking and to resist brake fade under extreme temperatures, with consistent pedal feel from the first corner to the last.
  • High lubricity, which Halo says means less wear on seals in the master cylinder, caliper and ABS unit, and a pure formulation, which it says means lower air entrainment and less bleeding.
  • Trusted by the best: Halo says GT is chosen by leading teams across motorsport. Its brochure also says Halo By Orthene began working with the McLaren Trophy championship in 2024, which led to Halo GTM and then Halo GT.
  • Engineered by Orthene: the brochure says Orthene has spent 50 years devoted to brake fluid, produces 65% of the world's racing brake fluid and manufactures for more than 400 brands.
  • Premium packaging that Halo says allows 0% moisture absorption. The bottle holds 600 ml; Bremsen Technik notes that most similar fluids come in 500 ml.

Compatibility
