Description

The FMINDK33 is the new intake kit developed for the Kia Stinger GTS. Its open cone design allows for increased induction note which adds extra theatre to the driving experience of the 3.3L V6. With the use of the premium quality Ram Air filters and bespoke laser cut heat shrouds this kit not only sounds good, it looks good.

With the use of Solidworks, our CAD engineers have designed the heat shroud to fit round all the contours of the engine bay and incorporating room for the strut bracing. This shroud protects the intake from radiant heat while also guiding the cold air from the OE cold air ducting to the filters.

The choice of filter was taken after weeks of testing and hours on the dyno experimenting with different filter options. We found that the Ram Air Pro Ram worked very well with an increase in power and torque, the build quality of the filter is also superb.This PRORAM performance filter has been designed with a high quality 5-ply silicone couplings and W2 Stainless Steel Hose clips to join the velocity stack to its powder coated alloy spinning. The filter is made using a high quality, high flow, synthetic nanofiber filtration media which is pleated to maximise surface area and in turn increase air flow.

Installation of this product is straight forward for anyone with a modest tool set. As with all Forge Motorsport intake kits the FMINDK33 comes with extensive installation instructions to make the fitting of this product as easy as possible. Why not add Forge Universal Gold Heat Resistant Wrap to the alloy pipe to further reflect any heat soak from the engine and keep inlet charge temperatures as low as possible. The Gold tape comes on a 5metre roll allowing you to apply it to your Forge Motorsport product.
