BMW updated the bushing spec to help with this, however there is a second differential bush mounting location on the original subframe – making use of this is the key to maximum reliability and torque capacity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMillway’s billet rear diff hanger makes use of the second differential mounting location – Millway recommend using the updated BMW rear bushes (part no 33178094690) – choose one bush if your car already has the updated plastic bush, or two if you have the original design rubber bush. The Millway parts are machined from billet aluminium at their Swedish HQ.
